Dorothy Bradbury

Moved to Deia and worked in a figurative style until her death in 1980 at the age of 67.

Born in 1913. Dorothy was a gentle and thoughtful person who developed her own style of figurative painting in Deia during the period when many other foreign artists were experimenting with abstraction. Different ideas and philosophies of art were interchanged at the early evening gatherings in Las Palmeras and made for stimulating encounters. She died in 1980.

She was married to and worked with her husband Robert Bradbury.
